Examinamos aqui como essa reconfigura\u00e7\u00e3o resultou em um sistema no qual a autoridade pol\u00edtica \u00e9 exercida por meio da viol\u00eancia. Observamos como as autoridades \u201cleg\u00edtimas\u201d \u2013 cada vez mais coercivas e autocr\u00e1ticas \u2013 agora compartilham a prerrogativa da soberania com atores n\u00e3o estatais, como corpora\u00e7\u00f5es, grupos paramilitares e at\u00e9 mesmo organiza\u00e7\u00f5es criminosas. \u00a0<\/span><\/p><p class=\" translation-block\">\u201cSoberanias fragmentadas\u201d examina como a desordem resultante dessa dispers\u00e3o de poder \u00e9 gerenciada. Exploramos como novas formas de poder emergem nas margens da legitimidade \u2013  e tamb\u00e9m em lugares onde a desordem tamb\u00e9m \u00e9 invocada por plataformas autocr\u00e1ticas, agora baseadas na ruptura, captura e destrui\u00e7\u00e3o do Estado democr\u00e1tico.<\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Movimentos autorit\u00e1rios contempor\u00e2neos surgem agora dentro de democracias liberais, reivindicando legitimidade eleitoral enquanto minam a escolha democr\u00e1tica. \u00c0 medida que esses novos atores pol\u00edticos autorit\u00e1rios ganham influ\u00eancia e apoio popular, eles reivindicam a soberania como uma bandeira poderosa para justificar seus governos violentos, que desafiam qualquer ordem estabelecida \u2013 internacional ou
