Our work is grounded in the belief that responding to global crises requires shared knowledge, solidarity, and collective action across borders.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">With an institutional presence in Brazil and the United Kingdom, Alameda explores the structural causes of contemporary threats and the political, social, and economic transformations needed to address them. We are particularly committed to promoting internationalism from the periphery, connecting ideas, experiences, and struggles in the Global South with those in the North.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In this video, Juliano Fiori, Director of Alameda, introduces the institute&#8217;s mission, the ideas that inspired its creation, and the research agenda that guides our work.
