Estella Carpi is an Associate Professor in Humanitarian Studies in the Department of Risk and Disaster Reduction at University College London, and a Senior Visiting Fellow at the Lebanese American University. She is the author of The Politics of Crisis-Making. Forced Displacement and Cultures of Assistance in Lebanon (Indiana University Press, 2023).
