Pedro Fiori Arantes

Pedro Fiori Arantes is an architect and urbanist. He is Professor of Art History at the Federal University of São Paulo (UNIFESP), where he was Vice Chancellor between 2013 and 2021. Between 1999 and 2012, he worked as an architect with Usina, participating in social movements for housing. He is currently one of the coordinators of the University, Society and Science Study Centre (SoU_Ciência). He has written various books, articles, and chapters on urban reform and worker self-management, public architecture and social housing, culture and politics, contemporary art and architecture, and education policy.
