William Shoki

William Shoki is a South African writer. He is the deputy editor of Africa Is A Country, and has written for Jacobin, Verso, and The New York Times. He also serves on the editorial collective of Amandla Magazine, and acts on the Constitution Hill Trust’s Curatorial Advisory Committee. He is also completing a Masters dissertation on Marx’s alienation and the philosophy of work at the University of the Witwatersrand in Johannesburg.
