Erahsto Felício is a history professor at the Federal Institute of Bahia (IFBA), he works in solidarity to base social movements, homeless movements, quilombola movements, indigenous territories and fishing communities. He has worked as part of the communications team of Teia dos Povos – an articulation of peoples and territories of struggle), and he is the co-author of ‘Por Terra e Território: caminhos da revolução dos povos no Brasil’. He currently works on projects that connect land issues with the radical environmentalism of popular movements. He is interested in theories dealing with political practice, the political theory of different peoples and with the construction of emancipated territories through popular autonomy.
